On site precision lifting

Over the years we’ve been asked to move a wide variety of unusual items.  Some of these require collecting and delivering in very specific locations.

These range from lifting air conditioning equipment onto scaffolding and rooftops, installing a pump unit through an open window, and the delivery of a boat into someone’s front garden!

As always, the key to any task like this is in the planning.  For the pump unit installation, we delivered to a sewage works.  The unit had to be delivered through an open window on the first floor, with a clearance of just a few centimetres either side of the crane arm!  Impressive skill shown by our operator, who remained on the ground level and communicated with the signaller inside the building.

The boat delivery posed a different challenge.  Once operator accessed the property via a narrow driveway, he had to lift the boat over the corner of a building and across the front garden, lowering it safely onto a stand for the owner to keep it in dry dock for maintenance.
